Bill Glass, a former professional football player with the Cleveland Browns did a tremendous amount of prison ministry and talks about a greeting card company that offered prisoners free mothers' day cards. The idea was wildly successful s thousands of prisoners sent those cards. The greeting card company thought this was so well received that they decided to do something for fathers' day. Well.......guess how many of the prisoners sent their father a card? Not one! No one prisoner asked for a card for their father.
Bill Glass then went on to state that "there may be a man in prison that doesn't hate his father, but I've yet to meet him."

The Natural Family is the cornerstone of any society. Societies must do all they can to maintain, nurture, promote, and protect the critical family unit. The moral fabric of a society protects the family and the social contracts that surround it must provide support for it. When the fabric is torn and/or the social contracts work against the "natural" family then society as a whole will be threatened. The fabric must be mended and the contracts altered to favor the natural family.
